“i wanted a studio that felt authentic, welcoming, and genuinely good to be in—and gave people access to the strength, mobility, endurance, and recovery practices they need, all under one roof.”
We built this studio because we believe your body, athletic performance, and daily wellness are all multifaceted. We know that you need a variety of stability, strength, mobility, endurance, and recovery practices in order to optimize the way you feel every single day. We know your time is limited, and your budget might be too, so we brought all of these disciplines together and created an accessible and practical sanctuary for your body and mind.

Beliefs we have stood behind
We believe the quality of the instructor really matters. That's why we invest heavily in developing exceptional teachers who understand movement, know how to coach diverse bodies, and create experiences that keep people coming back.
instructor quality
We believe no single modality can give you everything you need. Strength, yoga, mobility, endurance, recovery, and mindfulness all play a role in helping you move well, feel well, and stay active for the long haul.
functional fitness
We believe the strongest communities are built around a shared experience, not a shared identity. Our job is to create meaningful classes and a welcoming environment—the sense of connection that follows is what makes Seek special.
community
We believe movement should improve the life you live outside the studio. Every class is designed to help you feel stronger, more capable, more resilient, and more at home in your body long after the workout ends.
movement for real life
THE STORY
from our founder
When I moved to Salt Lake, I spent a full year searching for a studio where I truly wanted to practice, teach, and spend time. I was looking for something that felt welcoming and authentic, with movement that was both physically engaging and genuinely supportive of everyday life. While I found many things I admired in different spaces, I never found a studio that brought all of those qualities together in one place.
Like many people, I pieced together my routine across multiple memberships, studios, and approaches. I practiced yoga in one place, trained strength somewhere else, and looked elsewhere for recovery and mobility work. As both a teacher and a student, I kept asking the same question: why does this all have to be separate? The body doesn't experience movement in categories, and most people don't have the time, energy, or budget to build wellness across three or four different places.
eventually, it became clear that the studio i was looking for didn't exist
I wanted a space where yoga, strength training, mobility, recovery, and genuine connection could live together under one roof. A place where movement was both deeply nourishing and highly practical. A place that supported not only how people wanted to feel during class, but how they wanted to feel in the rest of their lives. So I stopped looking for it and decided to build it.
That commitment continues to guide Seek today. Every class, program, and decision is shaped by the belief that movement should help you live better beyond the studio walls. We are committed to creating a space that feels welcoming, authentic, and accessible, while offering the variety of movement practices people need to feel strong, capable, and well for the life they live every day.
Meet Sarah, Owner & Founder
Growing up, I was shy and often unsure of myself. I didn't always know where I fit in, and I rarely took risks on myself. Becoming a yoga teacher changed that. It gave me a sense of purpose, helped me trust my own voice, and showed me that growth often happens when we're willing to step into something uncomfortable.
At the same time, movement was never limited to the studio for me. Some of my earliest memories are skiing with my family, hiking in the mountains, riding bikes, and finding any excuse to be outside. Those experiences still shape how I think about movement today. I don't train simply to exercise—I train because I want to feel strong, capable, adventurous, and prepared for the life I want to live.
I'm also endlessly curious about the human body. I love learning about movement science, anatomy, performance, and the many ways people experience movement differently. That curiosity has shaped the programming at SEEK and continues to push me to grow as a teacher. It's also why I'm so passionate about developing other instructors and building a team of people who are committed to their craft.
When I opened SEEK, my goal wasn't simply to create a fitness studio. I wanted to create a place where people could come to move, learn, connect, and become more of themselves. Nearly a decade later, what I'm most proud of isn't the classes or the accolades—it's the community. I get to witness people navigate some of the hardest moments of their lives and celebrate some of the best. I see friendships form, confidence grow, and people show up for one another in ways that extend far beyond these walls.
What still keeps me up at night is making sure we never lose sight of that responsibility. The quality of our classes matters. The expertise of our teachers matters. But what matters most is that people feel seen, supported, and like they belong here. I've learned that when people care for one another, encourage one another, and share meaningful experiences together, the impact reaches far beyond the studio. That's the community we're working to build every day at SEEK.
a few things you should know about me:
I still teach 4–6 classes every week. As a studio owner, I think it's important to stay connected to the experience we're creating and the people we serve.
I have two young kids who keep me humble, remind me daily that I don't know everything, and contribute most of the chaos (and joy) in my life.
I'm a true Idaho girl at heart and firmly believe french fries are appropriate for every meal.
My alter ego owns a salad dressing company. My caesar dressing recipe has developed a surprisingly loyal following.
