The Studio Space

SEEK gives you access to everything you need from a gym, cycling studio, and a yoga studio all under one roof.

We are your modern sanctuary from the everyday hustle.

We are located in the Sugarhouse neighborhood on the corner of 1100 E and Wilson Ave S. Our airy 2nd floor space has 3 studio rooms, lockers, restrooms, showers, and good vibes. Free parking is available in the lot south of the building and in the surrounding neighborhood. We recommend you bring water to every class, a yoga mat to our FLOW classes, and athletic shoes to our STRENGTH classes. We provide complimentary cycling shoes for our CYCLE classes.

The Classes

Classes at SEEK are designed to be functional, practical, accessible, and applicable to your everyday life. We know your time is valuable, so we work hard to ensure every workout and every yoga class has a positive impact on your day, and on your overall health and wellness.

Functional training and indoor cycling at SEEK is designed to make a real impact on your everyday performance and wellbeing. Using stationary bikes, free weights, kettlebells, TRX straps and resistance bands we train your body to move smarter and stronger, building endurance, power, and practical strength.

Yoga at SEEK is designed to combine functional and mindful movement with breath, while teaching practical mobility, stability, flexibility, and active recovery techniques. With classes for all levels, you can add power to your practice, or chill into a restorative stretch session. Don’t over think it — it’s just feel good, do good movement with no judgement or fancy terms attached.

CLASS DETAILS

Yoga + Mobility

FLOW: Strong

Vinyasa yoga meets functional fitness - this class unites classic flow yoga sequences with powerful strength-building moves to create a unique balance of strength, agility, endurance, flexibility, and mindfulness. Come prepared for a high-energy class, an up-beat playlist, a good sweat, and some poses for tight hips, hamstrings and backs to complete your practice. LEVEL: intermediate-advanced

FLOW: STEADY

Seek's classic yoga class - a flow-style class with unique layered sequencing set to an up-beat playlist. This class is designed to build heat and energy in the body through mindful flowing movements and strong stability sequences before dropping you into a cooling sequence of deep stretching and moving meditation. If you're just here for the yoga, this class is your jam! LEVEL: all-intermediate

FLOW: Power to the Zen

A powerful blend of fast flowing vinyasa, deep stretching, and complete stillness. This class will work you until you're more than ready for total relaxation. Start with 40 minutes of heat-building, sweat-dripping, muscle-working flow, then drop deep into your body as you soften into opening stretches. This class ends with a longer savasana than most, with 5 minutes of stillness, breath, and meditation time for you to be here with you! LEVEL: all-intermediate

 

FLOW: The Antidote

The yoga class to remedy your week and jumpstart your weekend. Good vibes, good beats, and a sweaty flow will fix just about anything. Come prepared for a high-energy vinyasa flow, an up-beat playlist (if you're looking for quiet yoga tunes, this is not your class), a good sweat, and some deep stretching to complete your week. Stress less, flow more! LEVEL: all

Roll + Restore

A stretchy, chilled-out, restorative class for your hard working body and mind. We start with a slow and mindful 10-15 minute flow - just enough to get you warm and ready to stretch. The rest of class offers lots of deep stretching, long holds, breath-work, and myofascial techniques to help release tension throughout the body. Plus, an extra long savasana...because you deserve it. LEVEL: all

Strength + Cycle

Strength

This is our baseline workout - and baseline doesn’t mean easy! In this class you will use free-weights, kettlebells, resistance bands and plyometric bodyweight exercises to build functional-strength and endurance. Start with a mobility style warm up, and then progress through time-based circuits that will work your full body every class. End with a quick stretch and a moment of zen and you’ll leave stronger for your everyday pursuits. This class is purely floor-based and does not incorporate bikes or TRX. Look for STRENGTH + (…) for variations of our classic strength workout.

LEVEL: all-intermediate BRING: athletic shoes and water

Strength + Conditioning

This variation of our classic strength workout. In addition to free-weights, kettlebells, and resistance bands, this class incorporates elements of cardio, balance and power using spin bikes, bosu balls and time on the TRX suspension system. It is full body functional training designed to challenge and progress your athleticism. You’ll have opportunities to lift heavier weights and push your power output. You will walk away 45 minutes later with the strength and agility to move, run, ride, hike, bike, ski, board, and live better.

LEVEL: intermediate-advanced BRING: athletic shoes and water (we do not allow cycle shoes in this class)

 

Cycle

Our straight up cycle class - 45 minutes on the bike with no extra fuss. You will push your cardiovascular capacity and challenge your strength in every class. It’s no dance party on a bike - it fun, but its driven by true training principles and designed to transform your day and your athleticism. Our cycle classes are where music, dedication and motivation meet functional hill, interval, power and endurance training and the result will improve your everyday performance. Cycle + Strength

This NEW class format brings the best of our most popular classes into one powerful and unique 45 minute class. You'll spend about half of this class on the bike riding through high output cardio intervals, and half on the floor working through focused strength sets. Expect high intensity moments paired with focused and strong work, and be ready to transition on and off the bike.

PLUS --> watch each week's class title for training themes like "intervals and arms" or "hills and core" so you know what to expect from class!

This is a challenging workout, but can be modified to fit all levels.

BRING: water and athletic shoes -- cycle shoes are permitted only if you are confident in clipping in and out of the SPD system.

CYCLE + CORE: Our classic cycle class, shortened to 35 minutes, with 10 minutes of mat-based core strength work at the end of class to round out your 45 minute training session.

CYCLE + ANTIDOTE: This class is the cycling version of your Friday happy hour. Sweat out the stress and woes of the week and jumpstart your weekend with this high energy, high vibes class. Whether you like it shaken or stirred, this class is here to mix things up and work you out head to toe. Stress less, sweat more!
