Our Team

  • Sarah Betts

    Sarah is SEEK Studio's owner and founder, and you'll find her sharing her love for movement and functional training in our Yoga, Strength and Cycle classes. With over 12 years of teaching experience, Sarah designs creative and inspiring yoga classes and has been voted Utah’s Best Yoga Teacher for 3 consecutive years. Her passion for outdoor adventure sports is the foundation of her always-challenging and impactful strength training classes where she strives to bridge the gap between "fitness" and a true training experience. All of Sarah's classes are thoughtfully created to help you do more of what you love to do outside of our studio walls. When not at SEEK you'll find Sarah on her mountain bike, backcountry skis, rafting the rivers of the west, or camping under the stars. She's a dog lover, a community builder, and all-around advocate for living an adventurous and fulfilling life.

  • Kate Mcgowan

    Kate is SEEK’s studio manager and is a senior yoga, cycle, and strength instructor.

  • Madison Jane

    Madison is SEEK’s marketing manager and is a senior strength training and yoga instructor. Madison is a certified personal trainer through ACSM and a 200-HR registered yoga teacher. Graduating from Salt Lake Community College in 2016 with her AAS degree in the Fitness Technician program, she's been working in the industry ever since. Madison takes a very functional approach to the way she teaches movement and technique for strength training and yoga. She's our Strength Team Lead and resident Kettlebell Queen! As a Utah native, you'll likely find her adventuring in the mountains during her free time going hiking, camping or snowboarding.

  • Michele Lowry

    Michele has been leading strength training and circuit classes at SEEK for over 5 years, joining us as an original member of the teacher team. An Idaho native, Michele’s roots go deep into the athletic community. She competed in collegiate swimming at the University of Denver before attending the University of North Texas where she got her Masters in Higher Education. While in Texas, Michele fell in love with coaching and was soon brought on to coach at the University of Utah. She has been with the U almost a decade and now holds the title of Associate Head Coach and Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive team. When Michele is not at the pool, she can be found snowboarding, biking, surfing, or cuddling up with a book and her two cats. Michele’s classes are filled with loud, pump up jams and fun vibes.

  • Sandring Yang

    Sandrine has been teaching yoga classes at SEEK for over 5 years, joining us as original member of the teacher team. Sandrine received her 400 hr. Yoga Alliance certification in an Alignment Based Flow program at the Wanderlust Studio Squaw Valley in Tahoe, California. She has been practicing yoga for 17 years and teaching for 8. She believes yoga is an asset for all chapters of life by incorporating mindfulness and hard-work. It is important to Sandrine to create a safe space, to make it accessible, and most importantly to have fun! When Sandrine is not teaching yoga, you can find her playing outside, traveling, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
